When did you start working for STT?

I started back in August of 2018. My mom had actually applied to work for STT the year prior and told me about it; she said I should try it because I might like it. I applied too, and I ended up working at a few different football games to start. I have worked mostly part-time since, but I’ve had a few stints of full-time work scattered in as well.

What have you done while working for us? How many sites/positions have you been in?

I’ve worked festivals, football games, commencement ceremonies, and a few other random events and projects.

What has been your favorite part about working for STT?

My favorite part has to be the coworkers and people I’ve met over the years. I’ve met so many cool people along the way. It’s always cool to meet people from different backgrounds and be exposed to things I wouldn’t have been exposed to otherwise!

What is your favorite story/experience from working with us?

In general, working [a music festival]. It’s just a very nice environment, everybody is there to have a good time and there aren’t as many stressful situations or people. It’s very fun compared to the more serious events.

What advice would you give to a new employee?

Take your job seriously! Listen to the people around you who have more experience – they know what they are doing because they’ve already been through it. Pay attention, and most importantly: don’t always be on your phone!
