Congratulations on 5 years of service, Scott!

Security Officer Scott Baggerly celebrated 5-years with STT Security this month. Join us in congratulating Scott on this milestone by reading a bit about him below:

When did you start working for STT?

I saw an ad in the local paper in Traverse City about 5 years ago now. It said to apply through Indeed, so I went online and found the ad there and was brought in for an interview and then onto the team!

What have you done while working for us? How many sites/positions have you been in?

I’ve been at [a sorting facility] for a while now. I’ve also been able to work some fun events outside of my regular site. Those are fun for sure but can be a bit chaotic; carnival rides for the kids and alcohol for the adults aren’t always a great combination!

What has been your favorite part about working for STT?

At [the site I used to work at], I was out there around the clock. I got to see a lot of the business, get to interact with the drivers and all the people who come and go throughout the day – it was a great group. I was there for about a year or a year and a half and always think fondly of the people I met while working there.

What advice would you give to a new employee?

There are good days and bad days. You have to stick with it though! I worked security at a hospital before working for STT and saw the same thing there; so many people quit before they even gave it a shot! It can be a very challenging but also a very rewarding job if you give it a chance!
